  1. It has taken me 4 years to learn this internet business. I am very concerned about the rip off merchants out there. However there is great content on this website and I commend you. Anyone who genuinely gives back is number one in my book.

    Steve

  2. You have helped us a lot with our focus and vision.

    Thanks Tyrone.

  3. Hi Tyrone,

Wow! What a remarkable goals for 2011!

You’ve done a great job in 2010 for sharing your ideas. I’ve learned a lot of things from you. I am positive that you’ll be able to achieve all your goals in 2011 because you are an expert on that.

I like the idea of community service. It’s just right to give back and share your blessings to our youngsters who need support and a mentoring.

    Happy New Year!

    • Thanks Michelle and it’s great to have your support too!

How’s all your book consulting going by the way?

  4. Good goals that you set for 2011 Tyrone. Definitely not out of your reach. I myself apply the S.M.A.R.T. system to achieving goals to make certain they are a little out of my comfort zone but definitely reachable.

  5. You certainly have some pretty clear and challenging goals. Made me think about whether to publish my goals on my blog, as a way of making me accountable to my readers. Need to be clear what they are first!

    • Hi David,

As I’ve been running my blog for the last year or so it has made me be more concise with my goals and that’s the reason why it was important to publish them. I am looking forward to a great year.

  6. Hello Tyrone,
Very good on your goals. I commend you on being a mentor because I never had one when I was young and wish I did to give me confidence in certain areas of life since I had poor role models as for parents. Everyone needs help and encouragement, especially when they are young and I praise you for taking the step to do something about it.
Keep up the great work and I hope you thrive and prosper in the new year!

    • Hi Rick,

I totally agree and I didn’t have very good support for my parents as well. My parents only supported me financially but they were never there for my most important events. This is my way of giving back.

  7. Nice goals Tyrone, some very tough but I’m sure you’ll have success with them.
I don’t have specific goals for 2011, I have business goals that I want to achieve but I have short, medium and long term ones that I have planned but I should get more detail on them, so I’ll work on that. Thanks for sharing!

  8. Ohhhhhh, I have so many goals for 2011! I’m starting a new business in social media locally, I want to convert my puppet theater business into a vehicle that generates a small income for me and provides some work and income for a few friends, I am building a foundation for an organizing site and subsequent smartphone app, I want the parenting blog to be something more concretely encouraging, and then there’s keeping up with the house and schooling the kids.

Perhaps I should make “sleep” a goal too.

And I want to get into the virtual staff thing. I’m getting better at visualizing what that will look like and how to structure everything. I was planning to sit down and write out the major goals and then break out what the objectives would be, but I ran out of time over the holiday break. So I guess my first goal is to write out all the goals.

    Thanks for the challenge!

    • Hi Amy,

Wow! It sounds very very exciting and I would love to hear how that keeps going on. So I would love to see your goals on your blog to let me know when that goes up?

  9. Dear Tyrone -

Very ambitious and I have great confidence in you that you will achieve every one.

You will especially enjoy your work in sponsoring a teenager.

I did quite a stint in the prison in Chicago and also with the courts working with prostitutes.

Always gave thanks after every meeting. I felt so priveliged to do this work.

Sharing what you know is so beneficial and nourishing to yourself.

    • Hi Corinne,

Thanks and yes helping a teenager is going to be fun and rewarding. My fiancée works close to these kind of people as well so I can completely relate. Thanks for commenting!

  10. Hi Tyrone,

Wow you have it all planned out and that is what it takes to make things happen.

You are a good example for the rest of us and I really appreciate you sharing your goal.

The mentoring is a great idea. There are always children out there that can use the extra help and someone to believe in them.

Good luck and wishing you a very Happy New Year.

    Debbie

    • Hi Debbie,

I try my best to plan out and the majority of the time it works out to be. I hope it inspires you as well and happy new year for 2011.

  11. Got to go big on the goals….this is going ot be an awesome year

    • thanks Mitch. What are your goals?

  12. I am glad to hear some goals that aren’t about spending less or losing weight!
I am really wanting to hear about what you learn and accomplish in your niche site building.
Here is to a great year in 2011 for you, me and all the others commenting here.

    • Hi Bruce,

My goal for this year was to not lose weight but to get really lean and bulk up, which is the complete opposite. As for the niche sites building that is going well and I will keep everyone updated on that.

Have a great year on 2011.

  13. I have a clear idea of what I want, but for some odd reason, I don’t have set goals for the new year.

I started to prepare myself in late 2009 in six areas but allowed flexibility for changes, experience and growth.

    1. Music
    2. Business & Entrepreneurship
    3. Marketing / Interactive
    4. Technology
    5. Income Streams
    6. Health

    • Hello SparkHero,

That is definitely a good start and now looking at my goals I think that was a good way to break everything up. I mostly focus on points two and five ends I overlooked point 6 though I keep a good focus on my health every day anyway.

  14. Tyrone,

I really like your goals. They are stretching but very achievable.

I do like the workshops one – that is something I have been thinking about for quite a while.

Plus the mentoring…hope you don’t mind but I just might ‘steal’ that one. It’s nice to give something back.

    Andrew

    • Hi Andrew,

They are stretching and as long as I have a plan in place I believe it’s achievable. In regards to the workshops it’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for the last year & it’s taken a leap of faith to do until now when I been encouraged and supported by others to. Lastly the mentoring, sure you can take it and use it to.

  15. You have great goals, Tyrone.

I believe that you can achieve them all with your discipline and determination.

  16. Excellent start for 2011, Tyrone. You’re an inspiration to the rest of us. Good luck – I’m certain that you will be successful with achieving everything you’ve striving for plus MORE that you haven’t even thought of yet.

    • Hi Cheryl,

Thanks for your support and yes you’re right there are more goals in the background which I haven’t shared as well.
