If you want to look up the # of backlinks, you should really use Yahoo as Google doesn’t reveal this information unless you are using Google Webmaster Tools

Yes, it really does and as I mentioned, this is a long-term strategy that will definitely help you rank higher in search engines. No one knows what the algorithm the search engines use, but as long as you follow their requirements, you will be on your way to getting a higher ranking for your website and more free traffic.

Thanks. I’ve finally get the answer what is the meaning of backlink which no one get back to me.

One question, does backlink really help in bring up the ranking inside the search engine?
