Recently I got interviewed by Hector Cuevas (a co-blogger and podcaster) about podcasting and I thought it’s interesting to share with you today a brief overview of the two questions he asked me which was why I started a podcast in my online business and how it’s helped my business grow. Well, having a podcast is perfect for me since I do a lot of video interviews and from there, I can just rip out the audio and automatically stream it onto iTunes to cater wider scope of audience. At the same time, I got my video and audio transcribed so that way I can still deliver printed context which others can skim through as well. See my responses below inside this video. Enjoy!
The reason why I started a podcast was because it worked out perfectly for me. As I was streaming media e.g. video on my blog, I can easily rip out any of the audio and just stream onto iTunes and that’s the reason why I started a podcast.
In actual fact, I fell into it basically because it just goes hand in hand. If I was to write content, I wouldn’t be able to communicate that across to people as easily through a podcast. So when I did a video, all I did was I just got my virtual assistant, took out the audio part and then streamed it out onto iTunes which essentially becomes the podcast.
Now the podcast itself just to give you a brief, I do also just have interviews with people who I interview and put onto a podcast so therefore it does turn it into a more of a Q&A/interview type of podcast as well so I’ve got a bit of writing inside my podcast.
How do you think it has helped your business grow?
Well undeniably, people who don’t read e.g. like myself that’s the reason why I take on video and also portray everything that I do produce content via video. The podcast has helped dramatically, it’s tapped into a large market because think about it, at this point in time, about 50% of people watch Youtube all across the world and Youtube being one of the largest video distributors of content all across the Internet, people just want to click, watch and play. And it’s easier in my opinion I think to learn when you can actually see something.
I know a lot of people are so busy hopping onto their car, driving around or catching a train to work, they don’t have the time to be able to sit there and watch a video online. So what they’ll do is once they download it onto their iPod and listen to it on the go and that’s what’s great about having a podcast.
It’s definitely affected my business dramatically because it has opened up a whole new avenue of subscribers and viewers. And for those people who only listen to the podcast, then obviously for them it’s a very easy way to be able to get access to my content. And then for people who watch my videos then obviously it’s a different market there.
So it does open up a different way and you do capture a different audience. And I know from my experience, podcast is very, very easy to do. Ah, yeah it’s so easy that anyone can do it and I highly recommend if you do have a blog or business, podcasting is a way to be able to capture a new audience.
So I hope Hector had also learned from my experience. And if you do plan to produce a podcast for your business, I highly recommend you do so because it’s crucial for us to cater all types of audiences and at the same time, will help our sites get much optimized in the search engines while we grow our readers and followers in the market. Share with me your thoughts about this by commenting down below and I’d be happy if you tweet this with your friends on Twitter too! See you.
In today’s video, I’d like to share with you a really good question that I received from one of my avid readers on this blog and his name is Antonio Coleman also known as the Black SEO Guy. The question is “What does it take to be successful online?”. To learn more, watch my response in this video:

Hi, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com and welcome to the dedicated channel where I help you with outsourcing and automation.
In today’s video, I want to answer a question from Antonio Coleman, the SEO Black Guy as he call himself and the question was what makes a person a successful entrepreneur. And I’ll give you just from my experience over the years that I’ve been running my own business, emphasizing “own”, I’ve not been able to succeed and grow as fast as I’ve had a team around me. And because the team has been able to help me and support me and help my business grow, I think the thing that makes a successful entrepreneur is to have a powerful and strong team in place.
And when I say a team, at least a virtual assistant, people who can actually help you run and do all the administration side of things which allows you to focus on what can help you grow your business, make it profitable, make it bigger than what you wanted it to be and be successful at it. And everybody has their own definition of success. In my definition of success, it’s not about making lots and lots of money like million dollars a year or something like that. For me it’s having a balanced lifestyle where I can spend time with my family and also spend time doing the things that I enjoy. At the same time, running the business wherever I want to do it as well, too and still generating income from doing that.
So for me success, in my terminology is all about having a balance of a lifestyle and that’s what I think makes any successful entrepreneur successful and to make sure that they have a team back and behind them.
So the key point that I just want to take away for you is that make sure that you have a strong backed up team to help you whether it be a virtual assistant, a programmer or any type of person that’s in your team helping you do all the things that you need to do in the backend while allowing you to focus on the things that you need to generate income for your business.
Okay, thanks very much for asking this question Antonio. It’s a great question and I hope that I’ve provided little bit of value here for your readers as well, too.
So my name is Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com and hope to see you guys soon. Bye for now.
You may have probably seen my confession video that I’ve showed you recently where I was sorry and I apologized for the wrong message that I’ve portrayed to you. And so in today’s video, I wanted to expand in this and show you from experience how to avoid those traps, learn from my mistakes and find those real honest internet marketers.

Hi, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com and welcome to the dedicated channel where I share with you outsourcing, automation and lifestyle business tips.
In today’s video, I want to just add a little bit more to the video that I talked about in my confession and apologizing that I lied and I apologized that I was sorry. Now in today’s video, I want to talk about or share with you how to determine what is – people or how to determine that people are telling you the truth online particularly in this internet marketing realm.
And I for myself have been able to portray the wrong message and also incorrectly saying the things that I – that are not true. So just from my experience I guess I can show you from my experience how people have done that and also for you to sort of avoid those things and I’m not saying just to – just to be able to express to you in a way so that you don’t fall into those traps because the last thing I want is for you to go and purchase something from a scam artist or someone who just doesn’t have the right integrity behind them and as I said starting from 2000 – starting from now, which is 2011 everything that do online will be all honest and integrity. So this is one thing I just want you to try to understand so that you can also learn from my mistakes and also gain some knowledge inside into it.
Okay just to let you know from upfront as well, too you can’t always tell if people are going to be 100% truthful online. There are going to be people who are really, really honest online and there are going to be other people who are just in the other spectrum which are scam artists. And the thing is, is that you can’t check out everything, you can’t know everything. So just a word of caution, whatever you do online, whatever you purchase, whatever you read online just take a step back and just – I know people think skepticism at first and that’s very normal. That’s a very normal basic instinct and if you don’t have that then I can just say that you need to develop that but if you do have that, that’s great. And it’s very normal to read something that says make $40,000 a month through blogging or make money online and make a million dollars in a day. Definitely, you know when I look at those I just go huh, I could do some more research and get a bit skeptical and that’s very, very normal.
What I would suggest is determining whether or not that’s truthful or whether or not that’s real, is to do your own background research. And, if you’ve seen Yaro’s video at his blog he has elaborated on this as well and what I learned from what he’s talked about as well and I just want to add on this is that he’s talked about testing and trialing out the products first and see if what works for yourself. If it works for yourself then you’ll know it works from you because people’s stories from one story to another story can be completely different. You know if I showed you everything that I know in my outsourcing business and see everything that I do, you can take it away it’s great information but you won’t be able to implement it exactly the way that I’ve done it because I’m very unique and people just cannot copy exactly but I can provide you the system and the tools and you go away and as long as you take action, you can achieve either good results or even better results that I have.
So what I would suggest in this particular part about telling the truth or telling if someone is truthful is one go back and check out their resources, check out what their credibilities and see if you can verify who they are as well and by doing that, you can do through different means. You can obviously look at their blog and check out if they’ve got interviews on their blog and then link back to whoever has interviewed them. You can go through and check out to see who they’ve been recommended by and see if those people have influence and also people have a lot of integrity and also people who have high standards as well, too. So you can see from those.
Also too, check out how long they’ve been around as well. If they’ve only been talking about making money in the last say 2, 3 months then obviously where’s the integrity and also where’s the verification behind that. So longevity is also the key and I know a lot of the internet marketers that I personally know who are successful have been around for more than 3, 4, 5 years. Some of them have been around for 10 years and you wouldn’t have known that because they seem like they’ve only been around for a short period of time. But if you personally know these people then obviously you know who they are. And that’s the key thing is get in contact with them, talk to them, interview them, speak to them on Skype and you’ll really know if these people that you think that you want to buy products from or if you want to find out more about them and follow them, just get in contact with them directly and find out. And that’s something that I’ve personally done so that’s the reason why I know the people I speak to, my circle of influence, the people who are successful around me, I know that they are truthful for what they say. So that’s the first thing just verifying and also see how long they’ve been around.
The other thing as well that I’ll say as well with caution is I’ll give you an example. Everything that you see online is not what it seems. So simplistically, when you look at a particular website, if you think that’s what it is, then don’t take it for face value because you need to dig deeper. And I have a friend of a friend who I know recently who just got scammed by buying airline tickets just online thinking that this was a reputable company, it was referred to – just by another website and when they hopped onto that website, they obviously paid couple of thousand dollars or whatever for their plane ticket and never got any money back. They didn’t even get their plane ticket. So you need to just check to see their face value and I think the way to go about doing that is to firstly go through credible sources. I know that a lot of websites out there are just not credible out there. They can just be out there and if you just type in simply in Google the advertisement or the link of the person or whoever it is on Google, usually at the top either they’ve come up with the warning saying please keep away from these things or they’ve got some good reviews about them. And if you can just check those out simply just by doing Google search.
So that’s how I think in a lot of ways you can tell they’re truthful. And as I said if you’re looking to purchase their products, if you’re looking to follow their blog, or if you’re looking to just to get in contact with them, test out their information. As you probably know and if you’ve been following me for a while now, you know all my content on my website is of truth besides what I’ve said that is not truthful which is not making 6-figure income and also working 4-hour work week. But everything else such as the content on how to outsource, how to be able to pay your virtual assistants, how to manage your own staff, etc, etc. All that content that I provide, all about specifically on outsourcing is all true, that’s what I usually use in my system and also my business.
So go to – yourself to go and try and test out these things and see if that works for you and if they work for you then you know that the stuff works and all my stuff online is all for free so you’ve got nothing to lose. So I would highly suggest that.
And if people are giving away free stuff that works, then I hope that you can see there’s some truth to it and also some credibility back and behind it because then you can see that this stuff has been tested and works. All right, I hope that this video that I’ve added onto it helps you with just determining who are the internet marketers that are truthful and also who are the people online that works really well and came to do their stuff and provide real, honest information. And I know a lot of the people who I also follow and respect in the internet marketing community and people who I’ve also done work with recently as well, too you know who they are, are very, very highly respected.
And they’ve even got income statements to prove that, they’ve even got daily, weekly blog posts just to show what they’re doing in the business, you can see from all those things. But for the people who have just basically put on their face and say make money from blogging, make money from affiliate marketing and who haven’t been around for long enough to be able to test these things, are basically just getting into the market to try and show people how to make money but they haven’t made money at all. So you’ll need to just be very, very careful of those.
Okay, I hope that this has been something helpful for you and I really appreciate everyone for the people who have left all those comments and support and encouragement for my previous post, and I just want to thank you for everyone who’s helped me out as well, too throughout the year. So thank you again and I’ll see inside the next video.
This was not an easy video for me to create as I needed to come clean and tell you what is honestly happening in my life. I am not proud of the dishonesty I portray on the Internet and this may come at a shock to you. Please understand that I am now beginning a new clean slate for 2011 and that my life will be different.
Well, you’re probably wondering what’s going on? The only way to know is to watch my video below:

Hi it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com and welcome to the dedicated channel, automation and creating the lifestyle that you desire. In today’s video, the title of this video is “I’m going out of business”. You might be going what the heck is Tyrone talking about? Okay, so I want to share with you something that is both interesting but also a conceptualized different thing that I want to try out.
The reason why I’ve titled this I’m Going Out Of Business is because it’s actually in fact I need more questions and I need more business from you. I’m actually physically asking you give me more business. And the reason why is because I like and I love doing my blogging and I love answering your questions and answers and what I want to do in the upcoming few weeks is actually create a webinar based on all your questions and feedback. And this is your chance to actually ask me anything that you know about outsourcing, automation, video creation, Internet Marketing, anything like that.
And, the reason why I’m putting this together is because I love everybody’s questions and I love to be able to spend my time answering one on one to these things. Though, as you know most people or most Internet Marketers are quite focused on usually one project and only can spend so much time with people. So what I’m doing right now is I’m putting together a special webinar which will be opened up to the public over a few weeks and what I want to do is invite you to check it out as well. But before I do do that, which I’ll be presenting to you a webinar link version shortly, probably not in this video but in another video upcoming is to invite you to join.
But the most important thing I like to ask you to do right now for me is right below here in the comments section, ask a question. If you have 20 questions, just ask them all in there. If you have one question, that’s fine. Any specific question is great because then that way I can compile together and put together a structured webinar Q&A session. And currently I’m already doing a Q&A on a weekly basis, answering questions from my Asknsupport ticket helpdesk. What I want to do is to open up to the community to ask them any questions that they have that’s really dying and not really, really something that you want to know okay. And don’t be afraid to ask because I’m an open person, I’m very to share and I’m happy to help you and that’s what this blog post is all about.
All right so feel free to leave your questions and answers below. Oh, answers I mean just questions sorry. So just leave your questions below in the comments section and once you’ve left them there, just you know, I’ll be able to answer them if I can in this or I’ll be putting it towards the webinar. So feel free to do that and I love to hear your feedback.
Well that’s it for me today. Love to see your questions and feedback down below. So my name is Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. Speak soon, bye.
As most of you have noticed (or if not yet), I have used outsourcing and automation to create the lifestyle I desire. Fortunately, the Internet has made it easier for me to achieve this, which I will be sharing inside the video with you. Furthermore I believe in modeling from successful people who are already achieving the lifestyle you desire. Therefore I decided to put together a list of 10 lifestyle entrepreneurs who I model from, and I have thank Pat Flynn who inspired me to do this.

10 Lifestyle Entrepreneurs Exposed From The Core: The list here that’s provided is all done in alphabetical order, so let’s get moving onto it. The first person is Adam Baker and he’s the blogger and founder of Man vs. Debt. He’s the man behind flaw less finance management teaching people to say no to debts! He was able to reach his target himself paying off his debts by 100% and eliminating the clutter to live a happier and effective lifestyle. So Adam’s also a contented husband and father enjoying traveling all over the world. So what’s the key to Adam’s success and creating the lifestyle he lives today? If he had to bullet it down, these are the three things he says. Firstly is the dogged focus to live deliberately a.k.a to choose passions, purpose and work; willingness to be flexible and sacrifice and also surrounding with an supportive community and inspiring mentors.
Meet the next person, this is Chris Ducker and Chris Ducker is from the blog of Virtual Business Lifestyle. Now, I’ve met Chris and also he’s one of the greatest people that I know in the outsourcing industry. Though, what made him different is he’s actually in the Philippines. Chris is the owner and CEO of Live2Sell Group of Companies located in Cebu managing over 220 virtual staff. With that amount of people in the workforce, Chris’ biggest challenge to take on this year is to become their virtual CEO overseeing his company. Now what’s the reason and also how does Chris lives the lifestyle he lives today? In fact, he says it’s the delegation of tasks. Also hiring mid-level managers, and coordinating with them, and them only. And, focusing more on growth plans, business strategies, developing relationships with existing and good quality prospective clients.
The next person on the list is Corbett Barr. Corbett Barr is from ThinkTraffic. Now, Corbett Barr is one of the coolest traffic guys who has achieved his greatest lifestyle in contrast to other lifestyle entrepreneurs because he’s always believed in the fruits of hard work. As he enjoys doing business, working on it full time he says it’s just simply amazing. He also says to me he very much appreciate that when he says “Ruthlessly focus your efforts on those things that work, and stop spending precious time on things that don’t.†So what’s the key to Corbett’s lifestyle design today? This might sound corny, but the key to living my current lifestyle has been simply to believe it’s possible and to work hard to achieve it. The thing is, success is more about hard work than talent or luck. Emphasized on this he says most people aren’t willing to put in the effort necessary to make their ideal lifestyles possible which means there’s not much competition for those of us who commit to spending several years pursuing his dreams.
All right, the next person on this is Gideon Shalwick from GideonShalwick.com. Now Gideon Shalwick wouldn’t miss this list as not only that he’s famous for being an expert at video blogging and succeeding in it, Gideon’s also lined up with very, very few of the entrepreneurs who have unveiled and understood the power of Hedgehog Concept in achieving the lifestyle they wanted. So Gideon as he appears happy in all of his videos is definitely showing how he finds his living better now by learning this concept and applying to his real life. All right, so this is what Gideon says and this is how he lives his lifestyle. He applies his Hedgehog Concept and this is what it is: a way to figure out what it is that you’re supposed to be doing with your life and with your business; he also says knowing what you’re truly passionate about which skill can be utilized to get ahead in the market, and how these two can help him earn money and also focusing on only those two things.
The next person I want to introduce you to is Glen Allsop from ViperChill, a really cool blog there that I recommend you check it out. But he’s not only done that also too, he’s also achieved tremendous amount of readers from his website since he started but also because he’s that “kid blogger†who started from scratch and now traveling across the globe through affiliate promotions and other passive sources. Interestingly enough, what he got more is knowing that Glen already achieved his preferred lifestyle over a span of five years working online just enjoying what he love doing. That’s amazing isn’t it? All right, so what’s Glen’s lifestyle and also how did he achieve it? Firstly he says knowing the minimum amount of resources he can get by on; determining the few tasks which are most important to complete; and making sure if he cuts any core element in the business, he’ll know how it affects everything.
The next one I want to introduce to you is a fellow Aussie, James Schramko. He’s from Internet Marketing Speed. James could also line up entrepreneurs who have created numerous businesses but stays focused and hands-off on things. By running over 30 domains and other businesses, James managed to automate all these and scale it to more profitable systems to “sell†through outsourcing. He’s got virtual staff from almost all over the world and it’s kept him going and enjoying the lifestyle he’s at today. So how has James done it? He’s learned from the benefits from affiliate marketing and applied that and he’s built lots of websites selling software, he’s very very good at it. He says focusing on buyers to be able to lock in that sort of profit, adding services, price levels and so forth. And also knowing how to sell effectively to the audience.
The next person on the list is Maren Kate. Maren Kate is from EscapingThe9to5 and she says to me she’s ridiculously stubborn as she describes herserlf and this personal brand that Maren developed made her achieve success at the early stages of her online business. She admits to me that she’s a starter but it didn’t even take her back from the scratch she’s been through. What’s got her to move on again is through learning everything online and being able to outsource. That way she puts more focus on important things one at a time and makes it scalable. Maren also enjoys working full-time on the business while still having the chance to enjoy her hobbies at the same time. So how has Maren been able to achieve the lifestyle she lives by today? Firstly she said building a personal brand that’ll get you noticed by the public is important; continue to learn from different people, different sources online and because most of them are free, you can absolutely get all these learning; also lastly she mentions outsource and delegate things to focus on core concepts of the business which makes it much easier and scaling up to 100%.
Pat Flynn is my buddy. He’s got an amazing story here and he’s from Smart Passive Income. Now, Pat never intended to let the audience know what he’s talking about out there but while his first blog served as a hub of his daily reminders and what he’s gone through to pass the LEED exam, that actually connected him with the “buyers†who got stuck at his writeups and willing to buy anything from him to pass the test! No doubt Pat has really got this amazing talent in “writing to sell†so he’s definitely worth the list achieving the successful lifestyle that he’s got today. So how does Pat live the lifestyle that he lives today? All right, there’s a few points here. He says to me focusing by putting himself under pressure; “Pressure makes diamonds.†As he quotes from General George Patton; he also says throughout my life, I have always done my best work while I was under some kind of pressure. For example, while in school, playing sports, and obviously after I was laid off. The pressure gives me laser-like focus, takes away all distractions, forces me to take action, and helps me to be confident in the decisions that I make. His next part that he says is taking bold actions; next one is also standing out. That really is a key about Pat, he really tries to make himself different from the crowd so that way people will see who he is.
And finally, I want to share with you Yaro Starak and Yaro Starak has been the person behind Entrepreneur’s Journey. He’s someone that I’ve been…as learned of from a great mentor and he’s also someone who I have been following as well, too. He’s success in my lifestyle is basically due to him and he’s someone who I’ve been following for quite sometime. Also a fellow Aussie indeed, Yaro has also gained online success through blogging by spreading the word out with different modes of communication all in one blog. Now, I want to just share with you what I like about Yaro’s lifestyle is that he only works 2 hours a day at most! Enjoying the benefits of outsourcing and automation, Yaro still finds himself focused on writing in his blog on a day to day basis and passively earning from it. So what’s Yaro’s key to living the lifestyle he lives today? The first thing is he identified and isolated the strengths and then finding a business model that allows me to leverage and build upon those strengths. He’s also created a balance of creative output, exercise, good social life, new experiences and healthy eating. And also, being always after new challenges; what he says here today is what you want today is not what you will want next year, so enjoying the flexibility to move from one project to the next is important. That’s why he spent several years developing a business that functions like a machine and requires little input from himself operating. This also gives him the option to travel, to not work for days at a time, to start new projects – do what he likes as long as he keeps the basics going. So that’s Yaro Starak.
All right, now you might be wondering who’s going to be in the last one. This is who will take this last spot and this is where it comes down to you as an audience. So for the tenth entrepreneur on this list, who do you think should be here? I’m looking for an entrepreneur who has an interesting story and is living the 4-Hour Work Week. So what I love you to do is to leave your comments below and to share with me who you think would be the 10th person that should go onto this spot. Share with me and let me know, love to hear about it.
All right, just to summarize everything, you can contact all these bloggers as well and also all these entrepreneurs via their blogs. Well, thanks very much for watching this video presentation, I hope that you’ve enjoyed it and also you’ve learned something from it as well, too. As I said I love to hear your comments below as well from all these and let me know who you think would be the 10th person that should go onto this list. That’s it for me today, my name is Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com and I’ll see you in the next video.
With years of learning and taking action, I’ve hand picked these admiring people who I believe are the 10 Lifestyle Entrepreneurs to learn from. These people I’ve picked because I believe they will help you achieve your goals in life and also boost your inspiration to move on. What I do is reveal their “secrets” to being successful entrepreneurs is I asked each of these lifestyle bloggers “What is the key to creating the lifestyle you live today?”
Take note of the snippets, notable quotes and answers which are below because I’m sure you’ll learn something from it. So without further adieu, here are 10 Lifestyle Entrepreneurs that will drive you through success and automation:
#1: Adam Baker
Man vs. Debt
Adam Baker, much called “Baker” is the man behind flaw less finance management definitely teaching people to say no to debts! He was able to reach his target himself paying off debts 100% and eliminating the clutter to live a happier and effective lifestyle. Adam’s also a contented husband and father enjoying traveling all over the world.
What is the key to creating the lifestyle you live today?
Adam: If I had to boil down the last few years of our life into a couple “key” principles, I would say that there are 3 that rise to the top:
Our dogged focus to live deliberately… a.k.a. to choose our passions, purpose, and work.
Our willingness to be flexible and sacrifice.
Surrounding ourselves with an supportive community and inspiring mentors.
Living deliberately: For us, the choice to live intentionally and deliberately is just that… a choice. It sounds simple, but it’s really actually very tough to follow through with consistently.

Hi, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. I’m currently sitting in this beautiful location in Bali. I’m actually in my resort right now and I just wanted to share some really interesting things that I’ve learned just from being in Bali for the these last few days. This is pretty much near in the end of my trip and I’ll be heading back in Australia very soon but for the people out there, this is rather than a technical it’s going to be anything about outsourcing. Today, I just want to share with you more about holiday tips and things that I’ve learned along just coming through Bali.
Now, I just want to ride through three tips about the things that I recommend doing and also just keeping your eye up while you’re traveling. These are more or less travel tips if you want to say, part of the lifestyle kind of thing about what I talk about on my blog. So the first thing I want to just share with you is when I first arrived in Bali, I arrived in the evening around about the 9:30 kind of mark. About 9:30 to about midnight, it’s actually peak time and something that I learned and I realized was if you come on a peak time, it’ll take you very, very long time just to check out and even get your visa completed at the airport.
It took us about an hour and a half to be able to get out of the airport once we arrived. So you don’t want to get into that if you choose to arrive in Bali like that. So one thing I recommend doing is trying to arrange the flight around about mid morning to about afternoon. That’s when is the quietest time to come in. And, to get your visa is a pretty big thing. If you don’t have a visa before you actually come in, you can bide on the spot but to get on the spot and get through all those lines is just humongous and the lines and the cues are really very long. But once you get passed that visa part, the visa part was probably say three quarters of the time and then ten minutes left to just pickup your luggage and catch a cab. That’s how long it took.
I think if I count it correctly, there are over a thousand people that arrived to the airport. And because the terminal was quite small, it took a while to get out. So tip number 1 is just to arrive into Bali or any location probably around about the mid morning to about afternoon time. That way, you can avoid all the cues and enjoy your trip a lot more.
Second tip, I just want to provide for you is just make sure that when you, before you hop onto to any cab or going to any truck or van that you take, negotiate and agree on a certain price because what I found is that they have one price for meter, and one price just to take you to one location. And, if you’re staying at a hotel or staying somewhere that is quite nice as well, they’ll put a surcharge on top of that and you’ll be expected to pay extra 20 to 30% on top of what you expected to pay normally.
So what I would suggest to you is if you’re going to catch a cab, say for example from your hotel, don’t ask your hotel to get you a cab because what they’ll do is they’ll charge you to double the price. Just walk outside which is what I did. Two minutes outside of a hotel and just wave for a cab and they’ll just give you a definite price.
And to get that, you’ll probably see…let’s just say for example, if you’re getting from say Nusa Dua all the way over to Kuta, it’ll probably cost you at most 80,000 in a van or a taxi. So just keep that in mind, and that’s 80,000Rp which is roughly about $10 AU or about $9 US. So that’s one thing that I recommend, second tip is just to make sure you negotiate and you agree on one certain price.
Then the last thing I want to recommend you to do, the third final point is just make sure you buy your own water because your body might not be used to the water that you have, drinking around the local water and you may get certain stomach problems. So I highly recommend if you’re going to travel, just buy bottled water all the time because bottled water is usually refined and purified in the factories before they get shipped out and put into the bottles. Once you’ve done that, then you should be safe. And, the bottled water at most probably say 20c if you want to look at in terms of dollars but it’s very cheap to buy. You can buy bottles and bottles of it.
That’s that we’ve done, we just bought bottles and bottles of water and just drunk purified water from the bottles. That’s very safe and obviously I’m still sitting here right now.
Yeah, so that’s the last three tips I wanted to give you — three tips that I highly recommend before you do travel and also during your travel just to prepare those things and make sure that you’ll have it beating on hand. So I’ve had an excellent trip and I’m really excited to come back home also as well but I’m not looking forward to coming back to cold weather. The weather here is roughly about 25 to about 30 degrees, it’s beautiful tropical weather, location’s great. You’ll probably hear the kids running in the background where I’m staying but what I’m doing right now is just relaxing and having a great time. I just want to spend a few minutes just to share with you what I’m currently doing.
So, I’ll talk to you soon once I get back to Australia. And, hopefully there you’ve got anything that you want to leave — feedback, comments, your experiences probably if you’ve come to Bali as well, this is my first time so I’ve been really, really enjoying and having a really, really relaxing time and spending time with the beach, been also shopping and also checking a lot of tours as well and been doing a lot of exciting things. Today for me, we went on rafting so it’s pretty much adventure day for me today. All right, any feedback, any comments, just leave it right below here and I’d love to hear your stories as well if you’ve been to Bali.
That’s it for me today, have a great one and I’ll catch you soon. Bye for now!
You probably read the above heading saying what is Tyrone doing now? Why is he criticizing himself? Well, it’s true. For the launch of Mass Outsource Mastermind I really SUCKED at it! I am revealing inside this video my biggest mistakes during the launch of my course and as much as it hurt during the time, it was an important lesson I learned. I share this with you so you can make sure this doesn’t happen to you if you decide to launch your own product.
Also, in a few days time Jeff Walker is launching a new version of Product Launch Formula and there are some excellent videos I highly recommend you check out before he takes them down. Here are the direct links to watch these videos, (just opt-in once and you will be able to access them all):

Hi, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. Well, firstly I wanted to share with you today the reasons why I suck at product launches. It’s not just to tell you that I was a failure at product launches but it’s just to reveal to you all my mistakes behind the scenes when I first launched in Mass Outsource Mastermind course. You may not have seen it or you may not have known but there were a lot of big mistakes that I did. I want to share with you today inside this video what I did wrong and what you can learn from these mistakes so that you can make sure that you won’t do the same things as I did as well.
And, it’s all part of the process of learning how to launch a product as well. When you go through this stage, you will learn a hell of a lot of of things. For me, I’ve learned so much. All right so let’s jump over to the Mass Outsource Mastermind page which you can see right here. What I wanted to show you was when I first launched this website, this is how it looked. It’s reinvented a little bit over time but essentially everything has remained. Everybody got 10 free videos here and also access to my Outsourcing Experts Revealed report.
On the day of the launch, what happened was I sent an email to my database and people who are on the database received this email, I’ll show you right now. This email that I sent out was actually the email sent to them to go to the sign up page. You’ll see right here, there’s a sign up link there. Supposedly, when you click on this link, it’s supposed to take up straight to this link but unfortunately, when I’ve sent this out to thousands of people, it went to the wrong link. I was way asleep because the time that we launched it was roughly around about 10AM or 9AM EST U.S. For me, that was roughly about 2AM Sydney time. So I didn’t know, I was already in bed and I thought yeah, that’s fine. I’ll wake up in the morning and hopefully, I’ll receive the orders.
Unfortunately, it was about 6 to 7 hours later when I received this from my good friend Gideon. Gideon says, “You know your links are broken right?” I was like oh, it’s absolute harass. You can imagine what happened there. Anyway, that’s a little thing I recommend you do is just before you send out your emails, make sure you send a test email to yourself and click on the links yourself to test and make sure it goes to the right page. That’s the biggest mistake I didn’t do. I didn’t test it and make sure that the links work. So that’s the first blunder that I had.
The second one, was even worse but I learned from this one. I’ll show you a person who is also a student of mine now. She tried emailing me and also tried sending it through the support ticket system which I have setup. We have been testing it and thought it was working but in actual fact it wasn’t. What happened was she had to go through 3 different means. First was the ticket system, the second through the admin which didn’t work as well, and then through to the forum post and finally, through to blog post which I finally did receive. After about 4 times, she actually finally got to me. It wasn’t her fault, it was my fault because for some reasons, our systems were not setup properly and emails just didn’t get coming to me.
Anyway, this is what she wrote here, “Hi, I’m a student of Yaro’s and I’ve been interested in your program simply because of his recommendation and the trust to put in him as a teacher. Alas, I got several different ways of contacting you to get my questions answered at all to no avail.” Obviously, it wasn’t too good. In the end, I was very, very lucky that I manged to get the hole of it and explain to them the whole situation. This was the message I sent straight to her once I received a reply.
I can tell you, from this experience, the most important thing is the customer service email system was working properly. For some reasons, I don’t know why admin@massoutsource.com was not forwarding to correct address, the support ticket system was not receiving the emails correctly so it’s just a complete mess. You can imagine what happened from my product launch. Luckily for me, I still made it through and with all these mistakes, I still have numerous of members buying into the program so I had a successful launch in the end anyway. But these were one of the biggest mistakes that I’ve learned and lessons that I learned from doing this whole product launch and making sure that the next one that I launch, I wouldn’t have the same problems and issues.
The thing that I wanted to just part with you today is so that you can get a knowledge of not everything is not going to be perfect when you first launch your product that you’re going to be launching at first. Because you’re going to learn along the way that there are going to be little things that you can tweak and there are going to be little things that you’re going to learn along the way. Like me, I had two major blunders, firstly the email that I sent out didn’t have the correct link so therefore potentially, I lost a lot of customers when they click through. Second thing was I was not able to even handle the customer support because it didn’t even get to me. So, some of those things are those you probably will experience as well and what I would recommend you do is learn as much as you can.
I know that in the upcoming few days as well, Jeff Walker is going to be launching his product launch formula and it’s called Product Launch Formula 3. It’s been revised numerously over time and time again and it’s shown so much success. For me, I learned also based on some of his models and principles as well for what I did for my launch. This is what I just wanted to share with you today, not every launch is going to be a perfect one but still, you’ll get through it. When you do, that’s where you succeed and it’s all about persistence and continuing to improve on your systems.
Now, where I’m at, at the moment is that Mass Outsource is doing very, very well and it’s also had numerous members continuously joining on and signing up to the program. So that’s what I wanted to part with you today. Yes, I really did suck at the beginning for Mass Outsource but I wanted to share that with you so that you can learn from my mistakes and that you wouldn’t have these issues happened to you today as well.
Anyway, I love to hear your feedback and I love to hear how you’ve gone if you’ve ever done a product launch. And also if you’ve never done one, I love to hear what your thoughts on trying to start up one, and if you’re struggling I love to be able to help you as well. So just leave your feedback just below here on the post and also I love to hear any other comments that you may have as well. That’s it for today’s video. My name is Tyrone Shum and I’ll catch you soon on the next one!
In my previous post I shared with you the specific tools I used to make 10,000+ a month and if you haven’t watched it, I recommend you watch that first. Inside this video I will be sharing with you 5 of my most valuable software tools I use to manage my virtual team and to speak with my audience, who is you. Also I have to admit, I don’t use anything else but these tools to run my business…

Hi everyone, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com! As I’ve shared with you previously on the video, I was talking about the tools that I use in my business. I showed you I use my laptop, my phone, my video camera, my mic and so forth to be able to create a business that generates $10,000 per month and it’s not that much, not many tools that I have there. A lot of people may think you might need the whole studio setup, you might the green screen, those kinds of stuff is not necessary. The main thing I just want to share with you is that you can do it from anywhere you want and it’s better to do it from anywhere because it’s more genuine, more authentic and you are true to yourself exactly with what you’re presenting to people.
You can go and setup a green screen which I do usually for professional videos and depending on the businesses that I’m doing it for, but I usually don’t spend too much time making it all that spectacular as long as I provide good content and information.
So coming back to what I’m going to share with you, I want to share with you exactly the software and tools that I use on my computer that will help you create any excellent videos that I’m doing right now. If you follow me through my computer, I’ll show you exactly the tools that I use. I’m just going to highlight the main ones that I use day-to-day that help me to do that and also what my virtual team use as well. Let’s go to my computer and I’ll show you the tools that I use.
Okay, I’m at my computer at the moment and I’m going to show you through exactly five top pieces that I use on my computer, these ones that are usually available for PC and Mac. The only one that’s not available for PC is Screenflow which you can see right here.
The first one is Screenflow which is just screen capturing software that I use day in day out to be able to demonstrate to you exactly the step by step process of how to do certain things. If you’ve seen any of the tutorials that I’ve provided, I showed you step by step by moving my mouse, pointing here, click there, etc. Screenflow is really good software. It’s easy to use and it’s very nice as well. You can buy the software and it costs $99 to buy and you can get it from Screenflow here.
If you don’t have a Mac and you got PC, I recommend Camtasia Studio. Camtasia Studio is really good as well though in my opinion I think Screenflow is a lot better in any ways because it’s simple and easier to use where you can create really stunning screen captures as well. As you probably see my Facebook included inside and Screenflow is doing all that capturing for me.
The next one that I’m going to show you is called Jing. Jing’s free and it’s great for you to be able to install step by step tutorials for your virtual staff and providing information to them to do exactly what needs to be done. You can record up to five minutes and you can store it onto their servers or you can store it on yours. If you want to be able to show anything that you need to do such as changing graphics on a website, or training them on doing administration stuffs, this is a great piece of software that allows you to do that. You can get it from Jingproject.com
So that’s the second piece. The third piece that I use is called Seesmic Desktop. You might be wondering how I manage to keep myself in contact with all the people in Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, any of all those things. Seesmic is an excellent tool that allows me to leverage my time so I’m able to answer questions all in one desktop wherein I don’t have to go all the way to different logins to Facebook, Twitter or anything like that to be able to reply to anyone. Seesmic Desktop is something that I use day-to-day to be able to tweet, to be able to reply back to Facebook and to any of those things. This is a great piece of software that I use day to day.
The next one that I use is Skype. Skype is a free conferencing software or free instant messaging software that you can use. If you haven’t heard of it, then you must be hiding in a row. But, it’s an excellent piece of software. If you’ve been using MSN or Yahoo Messenger, Skype is even better. You can do video recording with Skype, you can call anyone around the world, it’s all free. It’s an excellent piece of software that I use day to day to be able to get in contact with my virtual staff and also do some interviews with leading experts in different fields.
The last piece of software that I’m going to show you right now is called LastPass. LastPass is something I actually discovered more recently. I used to use software called RoboForm when I first started on PC and now I superseded that one and went over to OnePassword which I use for Mac for quite some time. Then, when LastPass came into existence, I’ve switched over to LastPass. The beautiful thing about this piece of software is it’s available for all browsers, all stored online and it’s very secure. This is great for storing usernames and passwords and be able to retrieve it easily by letting it enter into your website straightaway without you having to remember everything.
If you’ve got hundreds of websites or even just 5 or 10 websites, it gets a little bit hard to remember every single password or username unless you’ve got an Excel spreadsheet setup or something like that.
This wipes out all that and automatically fills in your passwords for you. This saves so much time almost everyday to access all my websites. One thing I haven’t told you is I use WordPress. WordPress is my blog and WordPress is something that I use day to day just to be able to post my blog posts that you see here and also the videos. So, these are all the tools that I use in my business and it’s very crucial that you have at least something that is in the system and in place so you’ll be able to use them to be able to develop, grow and run your business. These are simple tools that I use on top of what I have shown you previously on the physical tools such as my laptop, camera and all that stuff.
I hope you enjoyed this video and if you’ve got any more feedback, I’d love to hear more of your comments. Just put it down below the blog post. My name is Tyrone Shum from Tyroneshum.com. Have a great day and I’ll catch you in the next video!
Recently Yaro Starak from Entrepreneur’s Journey interviewed me about my success in creating a six figure income in under a year and coining it the Tyrone Shum Story. So I thought why not share with you the tools I use to achieve this.

Hi everyone, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com! Today, I’m going to share with you the tools that I use in my business that’s able to generate a $10,000 a month income for me. The tools that I use are actually very small and simple — it’s no more than just a laptop, a video camera, my mobile phone and also storage hard drive. The rest is basically my mobile to wherever I am to be able to run my business. I can run my business from home, I can run my business from anywhere in the world and this is what lifestyle business entrepreneurs are able to do.
I’ve been able to achieve this very fortunately because everything I’ve relied on is heavily on my own systems which is the automation part and outsourcing to staff overseas in the Philippines.
The first tool that I want to share with you is my trusty laptop — I have my Macbook Pro as you can see right here and it’s a very to use system and what I find is that with the Macbook Pro, it actually saves me a lot of time to be able to get through and do the things that I need to do. The reason why I recommend getting a Mac for anyone out there is because it’s less time with any of the problems that I had when I used to have a PC. Before this, I used to own a PC and I was all the way for PCs but since switching onto Mac, my life has changed and I would not be able to go back to PC anytime at all, I just can guarantee that.
If you haven’t got a Mac, I recommend getting one and having a look into it. Yes it’s a little bit more expensive but when you look at the long term productivity that you get out of it and also the things that you can get and do with it, especially like the video marketing that I’m able to do and the systems I’m able to implement, it just saves you hundreds to thousands of dollars in the cost of buying computer. So that’s the first thing I have, it’s my trusty, 17-inch Macbook Pro laptop and I’ve got all my software and all my tools loaded up inside there.
The next thing I have is my iPhone — my trusty, Apple iPhone. Now, you might be thinking, what’s the point or what’s the necessity of having an iPhone? Well just with anything that I need to contact people and need to have everything that I need to locate within there, the reason why I have an iPhone is because it’s linked straight into my Macbook. I used to have an HTC and if I had HTC, it would not be able to work with the Mac.
The beautiful thing about the iPhone is there’s so many applications that you could load into it — a lot of times, I’m on the go and what I find is that I put all my podcasts that I listen to with all those I like to listen to. When I’m in the gym, I usually have my iPhone on and I’m listening to really cool podcasts, interviews, learning as I’m gone and that’s the reason why I’ve got an iPhone. Also, just keeping contact with all my family and friends and business contacts as well. That’s something that I’m pretty sure most people would have by now.
The next thing I have is my trusty, portable hard drive. This portable hard drive is just a Seagate, 250GB hard drive here. All it does is it just backs up all my data. So any of the video recordings I’m doing right now, for example this video I’m recording — once I’ve uploaded up to Youtube or anywhere that I send it up to, I’ll back it up, put it onto the hard drive and have the copy there. That’s something that’s a physical hard drive but I also have my backup systems online. I probably have shared this with you previously, it’s a system that I use called Dropbox. Dropbox allows you to be able to store up to 3GB of data online as well.
If you want a biggest storage like up to 50GB and so forth like how I’ve got here in the storage hard drive, I use another system called ADrive. It’s a free service that you can use and it gives you up to about 50GB of storage space which is really ample online.
So the next thing is what am I doing now — what tool am I using to be able to record this video? I have myself just a simple flip Mino HD version. Anything that I record is in HD version which is 1,280 x 720 pixels — pretty standard, pretty common right now that goes onto Youtube, Viddler, any of the large video sites that you have there. At the moment, I can’t share with you what physically it looks like but this is the box of it and this is what I bought. I spend about 200 bucks for me buying this one which is really, really good. You can get the newer version that’s out there as well and that’s slimmer and much new but you don’t need to spend more than 200 bucks or so.
Also, what you probably see on me is this microphone that I’m wearing. It’s an mp3 microphone. And, what I have here is I have a secondary mp3 player which I’ve got in my pocket right now. I’ll pull it out for you, you probably can’t quite see it but if I zoom in just to show, this is just an mp3 player that records my audio so you don’t get that bucket of it. At the moment, the camera that you see which is recording this one, the flip Mino is about three meters away to be able to record everything that you see around me. If I didn’t have this one with me, you probably hear me in a bucket, echoing voice so having this mp3 recorder, it records my audio and I basically synch it back once I’m finished with the video onto my laptop, that’s how you get that crystal clear sound that you hear from me right now.
If you want to go even more professional which I’ve done a lot with green screen specifically for training and also to do a lot of professional recording, I have my trusty Canon HD video camera which is what I also use to record really high definition, really high quality videos which I do for massive presentations.
You don’t have to go and spend anything like this. Simple recording like the flip Mino is sufficient enough to do simple videos like what I’m doing right now. I recommend this only if you’re going to be doing green screen recording or anything that’s going to be in high professional value that needs to be burned to DVD. This thing cost me a little bit over a thousand dollars but it records really, really good quality and shot high quality videos. You can see the difference if you’re watching a DVD, but to record and put back onto the Internet such as Youtube and other video websites, you wouldn’t notice the difference.
So those are the tools that I use and majority of what I do in my business is video marketing. You probably notice that I do a lot of video marketing. The reason why is because I don’t like writing.
As much as people say that blogging and writing is going to help with content and building a new website, I think what’s happening is that there’s been a more shift or change for people to move online to start doing video marketing. I highly recommend if you haven’t started doing video marketing to use your tools and build up your business like what I’ve done right now, I highly recommend it.
It doesn’t stop you from actually getting your videos transcribed to be able to create that rich content so what usually happens for me is once I finished doing this kind of recording, I would get my virtual assistants to transcribe my videos and then that goes to post on my blog and syndicate out to article networks.
Basically these are the tools that I use to be able to generate a $10,000 a month in my business or 5-figure income business. It’s quite simple, there’s nothing more to it and anyone can do it. All you have to do is have the basics to be able to get you started. Just take action and find the right things that suit your business.
In a future video, I’ll show you exactly the softwares I use as well so that you can get a better idea of how I can integrate everything to be able to leverage my time and do a lot of other things. Well, that’s it for me today, I’d love to hear your feedbacks and comments. Just feel free to leave your comments below as well and I’ll see you in the next video. I’m Tyrone Shum from Tyroneshum.com. Have a great day!
