Following on from the previous post I said I would share with you what I learnt from Ari Galper’s presentation. If you want to learn how to increase your revenue dramatically with small changes, read Learning From The Best Australian Marketers.
Ari Galper was the next speaker who presented after Siimon Reynolds at the Ultimate Marketing Seminar on Sunday. Ari’s presentation was phenomenal and he presented the concept of “Creating The Human Touch” online. What he noticed when he was selling online was the lack of human interaction, and how people abandoned their purchase because they didn’t have their queries answered on the spot. So Ari introduced us to his Chatwise system that would boost the conversion rates at the time of shopping. Here’s a little background about him before getting into his system:
Ari Galper is the creator of a truth-based sales methodology that uses live chat to create trust with online visitors, triggering significant increases in online sales. His secret method is based on his very popular no-pressure sales approach.
He has been featured on CNN and Business 2.0 Magazine. Virtually every top Internet Marketing millionaire uses his system to boost their sales and he is one of the few world-class marketers who has been allowed to join the legendary direct marketer, Dan Kennedy’s, Private Platinum Mastermind Group.
Universal Events
Ari points out there are two ways to increase your sales from your website. The first is to create a more interactive website by adding the human touch. The second is to plug up the “holes” on your website. I will share with you what I learnt.
Creating The Human Touch
What if you could have someone that was live on the website that could speak to your customers before they make their purchase? Someone who could provide assistance and help them with anything they need to encourage them to buy? Sometimes that’s all it takes to give them the assurance that what they are buying is real and genuine. Ari showed us how his Chatwise system could help any business create this and to also increase their sales conversions. It was very intriguing and it opened my eyes to see the opportunities. This is what I saw:
- The ability to find out where these customers came from and what keyword they typed to arrive at the website
- How to assist them with their purchase in a “non pushy” way
- This system can be applied to any business, from ecommerce websites, blogs and even affiliate websites. Literally anywhere that had customers visiting a website.
I realised how much this system could impact any business. The idea I took with me is what could I do with a live chat system on my blog? Immediately when I got into my office the following day I found a free chat system software and installed it on my blog. This way whoever visited my blog and had a specific question on ecommerce, I would be available to answer it. These questions start to become invaluable as it helps build a list of blog posts and eventually a product could be created to meet the market’s demand. You will see this available on the right hand side of my blog:
Plugging Up The Holes In Your Website
The second way to increase your sales conversations is to plug up the “holes” on your website. The reason why people leave your website and never come back is because they can’t find what they are looking for. If you simply ask them what they are looking for right at the start, then you already have captured 9 out of 10 customers from the beginning. Ari gave an example of one customer who wanted to find a guarantee but couldn’t see it because his website had too many graphics that cluttered his website. If Ari didn’t ask the customer he would not have known and many more customers would have left the website because of this.
Therefore the emphasis that Ari made was to make sure you ask your customers what they want, and then take action to de-clutter what is not necessary for the website. It will make life a lot easier for your customers and visitors.
Should You Consider The Chatwise System?
This is a software that Ari and Perry Marshall developed together that helps your business increase your sales conversions. If you would like to find out more about their software you can visit Chatwise Systems. According to what Ari mentioned in his presentation on Sunday, the system normally costs $100 US per month to run. If you are part of his coaching or membership site you will receive a discount, so it may be worthwhile joining his program to have the additional benefits and the system together.
In my personal opinion this software is good for businesses who are currently established and have a reasonable amount of traffic already to their website. If you are just starting out, I would consider other free live chat softwares such as Volusion that have similar capabilities. There is also a paid version of Volusion for only a once off fee of $29.95 that gives you everything that you would need. Visit Volusion Live Chat to download your copy today.
If you have any feedback or other live chat software you can recommend, please leave your comments below.

Hi,
Thanks for your comment. It’s interesting to see the different options available and I wasn’t aware that Yahoo and MSN messenger allowed for you to add a chat box to your website. I would be interested to find out how you went. Otherwise I would recommend trying the free software I recommended in the post.

You know, like when you go on a website, and they is a box, that says chat now. and you start chatting with the customer service rep so that she can answer your live questions.

One thing to keep in mind is that video chat quality will strongly be influenced by the internet connection quality of the participants (broadband is going to work better than a dial-up connection, for example).

These are not encrypted connections and therefore can be easily seen in Iran. Many people recommend proxies. However proxies leak information and can reveal a lot when you think you are safe.

I’m willing to bet a lot of proxies that work in Iran are traps set up by the government. They do not encapsulate the entire connection which is the problem.

Your best solution is the Personal VPN which encrypts the entire connection out of Iran and into the EU or US. Nobody in Iran can get into the tunnel to see what you are doing.
