Hi it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. In today’s video, I’m going to be sharing with you some really awesome tips and I’m very excited to share these with you because this is the background or the backbone of my success for the blog and everything else that you’ve seen from the front-end as well.
So in this video, I’m going to be sharing with you some how-to tips on how to create video, how to generate traffic from videos and also some places where you can get traffic to convert them back over into subscribers onto your database. I know there’s going to be a lot in here but I’m just going to give some really, really key points in this video so that you can take that away, implement and take some action.
One last thing as well just to mention is at the end of this video, remember to also stay tune to see the report that I’m going to be showing you, a 90-page report that has been released by my good friend Gideon Shalwick. In that report, there are 90 pages of really step by step blueprint of how to create videos, generate traffic, and so forth. Everything that I’ve learned is directly from Gideon. You’ll be able to take all that information away and implement it. It’s all for free as well so make sure at the end of this video, check that out.
All right, let’s get started. The first thing is that the way I go about generating videos or how to create videos is actually very, very simple. You don’t need anything that’s too fancy. Currently, as I’m talking to you right now, I’m just using my Macbook Pro and my trusty little microphone here. I know you can see that this is an expensive microphone here, it looks expensive. It’s just a Rode Podcaster, it’s a little bit over $200 to buy brand new but you don’t need to go and spend that much money to get really high quality microphone. Just a simple microphone, like a Logitech small one that’s probably about 40bucks or so, you can probably get away with that and be able to record some really, really simple and easy videos which you can just upload onto YouTube.
It’s not about how the screen looks or anything like that; what’s more important is the quality of your content. Just like me right now, I’m talking to you on this video and just presenting to you just who I am currently in my little study room in front of my Macbook Pro and I’ve just got a microphone plugged straight into it. So it’s actually not that hard to create videos. You don’t have to make it look as though it’s really fancy, astonishing or anything like that. Sometimes you do see me in front of a camera using my Flip Mino which is right over here. This little Flip Mino is only about couple hundred dollars and you probably have seen in my previous videos, I’ve listed out the equipment that I use. But this stuff doesn’t cost much at all. For around about no more than $400, and your trusty laptop, you can get yourself some really, really high quality definition videos online.
So I just thought I can give you a quick summary of what you can use and what you can do to create some quick videos. To top that off, there are some free softwares which you can also use as well. And, one that I’ve used in the past is called Screenr.com. That’s a free screen capture software that allows you to capture five minutes worth of screen capture. So right now, what I’m doing is showing you if you have a look at my blog, it’s my little mouse pointing to everything clicking on the blog, this is just a screen capture showing you how to do whatever I’m doing right now. You can do it as well, it’s so easy to do and you can have a picture on, on the screen like I’m doing right now and post it up as a video. A lot of people like that and the fact is that they can see exactly what you’re doing on the tutorial.
So that’s the first key point, it’s how to create a video simple, fast and easy. This is something that you can do right now. It takes five minutes or so to get all that stuff all setup and once you’ve got that all setup, you’re up and running.
All right, the second point I just want to share with you is once you’ve got your video posted onto YouTube, I’ll show YouTube right now, you can actually comment on other people’s YouTube channels and what you want to do is if you want to do is if generate traffic from those channels, all you have to do is hop on their channels and leave a comment saying how good their video is, saying what you can contribute back to them and write something of value. Hopefully, when people look through your comments and read that as some valuable comment and you’re contributing back to the community, they’ll come and visit your channel and also see what you’re doing. So that’s a very simple tip that you can do to be able to be able to create and generate traffic from other people’s blogs.
The third tip that I want to share with you is capturing those leads. Now, there’s no point getting them come and watch your video and hopefully after watching your video, they’ll know who you are. What you want to do is to start building relationships with these people because once you’ve created these videos, you want them to be able to see and come back and be part of your newsletter, subscribe to your channel or what not. What you want to do is capture them to go straight to your blog. What you’ll notice right here, as you can see there’s a http://www.tyroneshum.com. A lot of people fail to put this inside their description and what I usually do is at the beginning of every single description I put in, I put my blog address. So if people want to find out more about me, they’ll click on that and it’ll be taken straight to my blog. And, what you’ll find is that people when they first see your blog, you’ll have a pop-up which asks them to subscribe to your channel or subscribe to your newsletter. That’s a really, really powerful way to be able to capture your list of subscribers.
I currently use Aweber to do this and I highly, highly recommend if you’re building a blog and you’re building up a video channel with what can you see there, build it up with Aweber. Aweber really, really helps you to be able to track up and keep track of who’s on the database. So that’s tip number three. It’s to make sure that you encourage them to subscribe onto your channel and to subscribe also to your newsletter as well.
All right, and then the final tip that I want to share with you, this tip is very important. It’s all about consistency and making sure that you consistently follow this through. You’ll notice that I consistenly post atleast every second day a new video online. The more videos that you have online on your YouTube channel, the more chances of having more traffic coming back to your video channel. It’s crucial by doing this because the more people will see it, obviously the more people will follow you. So consistently atleast a minimum once a week, post a new video onto your channel or post it onto YouTube. That way, you’re continuing to generate traffic and ongoing traffic to your blog and to any of your videos and that’s a very, very powerful tip that I can recommend to do.
All right, I hope you’ve enjoyed all these tips that I’ve given you. These are very powerful tips and I highly, highly recommend that if you do get a chance to implement this, take action right now. Now, one thing before you do go as I said at the beginning, recently Gideon Shalwick has created a brand new report called Rapid Video Blogging and it’s really, really powerful strategy which I’ve implemented already in my business. I’ve already been doing this for many, many months and that’s because I’m really good friends and close friends with Gideon and he asked me to give at a go. So I said, “All right, I’ll give it a try.” And I’ve achieved astounding results. So I’m proof that it does work.
But, if you want to be able to achieve all these, I highly recommend checking out his report which is a full 90-page of really, really good content and if you know Gideon, he just doesn’t hold anything back.
What you’ll do is just click on the link right below here and it’ll be able to take you straight to his blog, his Rapid Video Blogging site, and you’ll be able to download his free report. That free report is a step by step blueprint of how to create videos, how to market and promote them and how to be able to generate those traffic and convert them into subscribers. Then, if you’re running it as a business, it can perfectly convert them into cash or dollars. So it’s got everything in there and I highly, highly recommend checking it out. So the links are just right below there and you can click on it right now.
All right, I’m going to finish it right now. If you have any more questions, or comments or feedback that you want to leave, just feel free to leave them right below here. I love to hear how you go with your journey as well and if once you’ve read the report, love you to leave the feedback as well. I’ll be able to help you answering your questions because I’ve been through this and I know exactly what Gideon teaches. I can definitely attribute to be able to say how much I know and also help you with that as well.
Oh, one last thing to mention is you’ll see a little bit about me inside the report so don’t miss out on checking that at too. All right, I’ll take to you soon. Have a great day everyone and enjoy the report. Bye for now.
It just so happens that my good friend Gideon Shalwick is releasing a new report that goes into detail providing a blueprint of how to rapidly use video to market and promote your blog or business and to make money from this.
It’s an awesome report and I’ve had the pleasure to read it and provide a testimonial for it as well. (You will see me inside the report)
To download your copy of the report all you have to do is click on this link below and just provide your email address and name:
I hope you’ll find these awesome tips helpful and start to take action to implement them. Also, don’t forget to download Gideon’s FREE Rapid Video Blogging report as it’s pack with tons of information. Thanks very much for your time today and I’d love it if you share your comments below and also spread the word onto your networks. Talk soon!
[..YouTube..] I really liked your video. Learning how to create tutorials for very little money is valuable to people, especially for those just starting out. Your presentation was clean, without a lot of flashy gimmicks. I sent a video comment, showing you some ideas I have to increase the quality of the audio at Rapid Cash Marketing
[..YouTube..] Nice tutorial. Presentation was clean without too much video hype. Sound was easy to understand. I am currently producing tutorials, so this was interesting.
Hey Tyrone, Great video. I was listening to your interview with Chris Ducker. I thought I heard you tell him about a way to improve audio with the flip mino. I have one but the audio is horrible. Did you find a way around it to increase sound quality? Thanks for always putting out great stuff.
Thanks for your comment. Yes there is a way to increase the quality of the audio. I would use a separate mp3 recording device when recording with the Flip Mino and that way you can have better audio quality. I currently do it with all my videos.
Thanks Tyrone, I am decent at tech stuff but don’t know how that would exactly work. Do you start recording on the flip and then run a mic on your computer to record the voice? Just not sure how to sync it all up for it to work. Can you describe how you do it a bit more precisely if you get a chance?
Thanks so much! I really enjoy your interviews. I like the one you did with Chris Ducker. Good Stuff;)
Thanks. I have a portable mp3 recorder and record the sound whilst near my Flip camera. Then I download both the sound and video onto the computer. Once I have loaded it into Screenflow (my video editing software), I sync up the sound and video based on my starting claps at the beginning.
Excellent video, and one thing I haven’t gotten into yet because I don’t have a video camera yet. My laptop is old and doesn’t have a webcam built in. I’m saving up for either a new computer with webcam or I’m going to get a video camera.
I use a lot of other people’s videos on my blogs, but have one that I would like to do my own videos on, even produce my own math or science course.
I haven’t had a chance to read Gideon’s report yet, but I have it.
Thanks for the kick in the pants to get busy and get video into my blogging!
I almost purchased the mino hd before christmas, but I found some of the videos that people had taken using it and I personally thought the video was very “jumpy” when there was any kind of movement on the screen. Capturing movement would seem to be important for a video camera…, but I was wondering if you have noticed this?
I did notice a little bit of this, though when you have it edited on Screenflow it will be smooth and fine for YouTube. If you have seen my videos I always use my Flip Mino HD to record and it’s been very clear.
What service do you recommend for storing video and audios in the cloud?
I ask because I am getting heavy into podcasting now and I do not want to run of out bandwidth with my
website hosting company.
I already have feedburner and my itunes channel set up and I am looking for a solution that I can use that
will still submit my podcasts to my already establish itunes channel.
Thanks for the comment. I use Amazon S3 services which allows me to store Gigs of data and I know you’ll not run out if you use this service. It’s very reliable and very low cost. This solution will also work with Feedburner and the iTunes channel.
Excellent information and I will surely read Gideon’s report; I have been wanting to implement video onto my blogs and I do have a video on my homepage of my site. I write inspirational blogs for women and an occasional video would be beneficial!
I have always wanted to try posting a video on You Tube or even on my blog to promote my business and website, and generate interest. I probably can take the video with my new iPhone! Thanks for giving me the information needed to give video a try!
Yes there’s a video option on the new iPhone. Though I’m not sure what format it comes out as and hopefully it can automatically upload it onto YouTube for you. Let me know how you go as this would be a cool thing to do!
Hello Tyrone,
That video was fabulous and packed with useful information. I went over and looked at the screen cast website. Flipping fantastic! It’s just what I was looking for, but didn’t know what to ask for. I’m looking forward to diving into Gideon’s book for more excellent info that is immediately useful.
Pretty interesting Tyrone. I use a lapel mic for my videos at the moment, and wondered if you have every tried one?
Also do you prefer screenr to Jing? Jing has to be installed locally but is so useful.
I have Gideon’s report already but haven’t read it yet.
I also use a lapel mic as well, but it’s only for using it on the Flip Mino. Otherwise I have my trusty Rode Podcaster which records really high quality audio. It’s crispy clear!
I prefer Jing to send to my VAs for work as it’s lite. Though Screenr is great for doing blog postings especially to upload to YouTube. Fast and quick!
Definitely read the report. There’s so much great information in there and if you just implement one, it will definitely take you far!
I spent the day reading Gideon’s report. It is very light on selling and big on information.
I kept wondering what else he has to teach after he has given so much information away.
It is easy to read – some Ihave yellow highlighted to go over again.
I’m not a tech like most of you. But I get it. Video on our blogs will definitely increase readership. Especially if they are put on often and are short.
I liked Gideon’s idea that they did not have to be professionally done to get attention. People do not expect TV quality on blogs. Just some good information.
I totally agree. With all the information he gives away, it feels like there is nothing else to teach. Don’t worry, I’ve already taken the course and it’s a lot more in depth than the report, so there’s still lots to learn and implement.
Furthermore, videos help build your brand and also establishes the face to face relationships a lot quicker than just typing. That’s why I think video is going to be plastered all over blogs sooner than later.
You’ll definitely enjoy the ebook! Videos are much quicker in my opinion and as long as you get started you’ll be getting along the way to create excellent videos.
I am just trying to get into the video part of all this. Made a video of myself yesterday from my camcorder, but having trouble getting it on my computer. This technical stuff really throws me, but hey i’ll keep working on it.
thanks for all the good tips. Hopefully some day my videos will look half as good as yours.
Debbie
What video camcorder are you using? some of them spit out weird formats, like mts and I was thrown off by that for a while before I discovered the Flip Mino.
Tyrone.. I’ve started to rely on your videos and tips for running my business – and this is another video with a couple of tips that I KNOW about, but don’t implement. Thanks for the reminders!.. and yes. I’ve downloaded the report as well!
I have a Flip also and it’s great for those short little videos. Anything more required then I use a Sony HD Camcorder – the quality of the end video is much better.
Have already got Gideon’s report – excellent advice.
Timely and as you say awesome report. How do you know we need the stuff you send just when you send it? Great marketing intelligence, or intuition? – My hunch it is a combination of both. Tyrone, you rock!
Thanks Beat. How I know what stuff to send out is based on feedback from my audience and subscribers. I get lots of feedback via email and comments and through there that’s how I create videos to send out and also how I formulate new ideas for products as well. Every comment is valuable to me.
I got a Kodak Z18 and it came out ahead in pretty much every area over the Flip plus it has the external mic input which is why I bought it. Check it out and the reviews at Amazon.
Thanks for the Video. I do a lot of video as well (a minimum of four a day) and I have to say the Flip Camera is a bad idea for most purposes. Aside from not being able to plug in an exterior microphone, eventually the battery burns out and it cant be recharged or replaced. There are a lot better options, just my 2 cents.
It’s interesting what you say about the Flip Mino. I have my views on it as well, yes it’s not good with having the external mic as it can time consuming, but it is very flexible when you are doing things far distances away from the camera.
I am considering the Kodak Zi8 as it has the external mic option and I wonder if the quality is just as good.
About the battery, I’m pretty sure you can use AA batteries when the rechargeable one runs out. I can confirm this with Gideon whose tried it as well.
I had the flip ultra HD but I think i got it when it first came out so it didn’t have a way to change the battery. Its really been a revelation though since it died as I upgraded to a cannon vixia hf20 and just the flexibility and overall quality make it well worth the price differential but for making the move from using the built in camera in my computer to a camera, the flip did the trick, especially at the price point but don’t even think about getting help from their customer service, in a word: deploarable.
Thanks and I do my best to provide good content Congrats on finding a VA from the Philippines and I look forward to hearing more of your stories and sharing a case study on this as well.
Also, I saw your new blog – when did you launch this?
Thanks for your comment. I will find a solution for PC as well (can’t guarantee it, which is why I switched to Mac). If I find one, I’ll definitely post it up and share it on the blog.
Thanks. I love this question and it’s very common now since I’ve been doing it a lot lately – looks like I need to create a video for this tool
You will need a Mac for this and also a software called Screenflow. Inside Screen flow there is an option to record with your webcam. Once you hit record, it automatically adds it to the screen recording and you can move it anywhere, just how I’ve done it.
I’ll be sure to get a tutorial done for this, as it’s asked quite a lot.
[..YouTube..] pretty good tips tks.
[..YouTube..] Thanks so much for the help you have been giving me.

Hey Tyrone,
I just downloaded Gideon’s e-book last night, and I can’t wait to read it.
I’ve always been a fan of video… but my videos have been pretty amateur so far.
We’ll see what I can do with Gideon’s help…
keep smiling,

Same thing. I use a Canon HD for the “better” videos which is required for membership sites and products I sell.
Timely and as you say awesome report. How do you know we need the stuff you send just when you send it? Great marketing intelligence, or intuition? – My hunch it is a combination of both. Tyrone, you rock!

timely advice as I’m really trying to start using video. I’ve already got Gideon’s report – just need to read it!
Hi David,
Great! Definitely put aside at least 2 hours to read through the report. There’s so much in there that it will take time to absorb it all!
Hey everybody,
I got a Kodak Z18 and it came out ahead in pretty much every area over the Flip plus it has the external mic input which is why I bought it. Check it out and the reviews at Amazon.
Hi Steve,
Thanks for sharing and I am considering the Kodak Zi8 as well based on reviews from Mike Koeings. Will definitely look into get one shortly.

About the battery, I’m pretty sure you can use AA batteries when the rechargeable one runs out. I can confirm this with Gideon whose tried it as well.
You need the Flip Ultra HD to be able to replace the batteries easy with 2x AA batteries.
I would not recommend the Flip Mino.
Gideon
I had the flip ultra HD but I think i got it when it first came out so it didn’t have a way to change the battery. Its really been a revelation though since it died as I upgraded to a cannon vixia hf20 and just the flexibility and overall quality make it well worth the price differential but for making the move from using the built in camera in my computer to a camera, the flip did the trick, especially at the price point but don’t even think about getting help from their customer service, in a word: deploarable.
Honestly Tyrone you have outdone yourself on this post.
Another great lesson from you my friend.
Oh, I’m proud to say after a number of “oops”, I have found a new VA from the Philippines who seems to be the perfect fit.
My partner worked her at finding her to help support our business.
Thanks for your tips
Hey Krizia,
Thanks and I do my best to provide good content
Congrats on finding a VA from the Philippines and I look forward to hearing more of your stories and sharing a case study on this as well.
Also, I saw your new blog – when did you launch this?
Hi Tyrone,
Thanks for sharing your video thoughts.
Chris
Another great video!
Like the poster above I would love some info on how you get the picture in the corner and put the text on the screen.
Been looking for a good (windows) tutorial everywhere.
Hi Chad,
Thanks for your comment. I will find a solution for PC as well (can’t guarantee it, which is why I switched to Mac). If I find one, I’ll definitely post it up and share it on the blog.
[..YouTube..] @GideonShalwick No problems. I’ll be on there this morning. So I’ll catch you then.
Hi Tyrone,
Another great video, how do you get your webcam picture down the bottom corner of the screen?
By the way Gideons report is fantastic, I would recommend it to anyone!
Hi Nicole,
Thanks.
Great content! Thanks again Tryrone.
[..YouTube..] Nice one Tyrone!
Great work!

PS: I need to ask you something on Skype… lemme know when you’re on there next time ok?
