Tyrone,
I hired three contractors from India using elance at different times and they were all horrible. One never did what I ask so I gave up with them. One started the project and wanted me to pay them in full after we agreed to pay 50% now and the rest when done. The last one finished the project in 8 months when it should have taken 1 month. And it still does not work.
So I’m a little weary of outsourcing. I’m willing to give the folks in the Phillipines a try though.

Thanks for your comment. I can totally relate with you and sympathise with you as I had been through the same thing with hiring people from India.
Since then I’ve been hiring people from the Philippines because they understand us and also are honest and hard working people. All the staff that I’ve hired and are STILL currently working full time for me are from the Philippines and I’ve been extremely happy with them.
Let me know how you go with finding people from the Philippines?

Hired a web design company from India. They took too long to do anything. They demanded $120 for the same task that I can get done here for $100 that is to put a new theme and customize it for WordPress. They went bad on their promises. I had to keep calling late at night ( as the 12 hr time difference) and keep after them …
The whole experience hiring from INDIA has been very NEGATIVE. These people have become clever and demanding same pricing as in the US and giving a horrible service. Enough of that.

Too many of potential employees need a lot of free time and are trying to avoid full time job. And I think that full time worker is the best solution because the most things can be done. Full time is reliable and satisfying.

I tried to register on bestjobs.ph from my location in South Africa. But it was rejected with this message: “We regret to inform you, employer registrations are not currently allowed from your location.”
Do you know why this is?
