  4. Thanks Tyrone another great video from you! :-)

  5. hiya Tyrone,

Thanks for this. I currently use tubemogul and it is a great service. I’m looking forward to part 2 as I need to store videos for http://www.cookingwithkerwin.com.

    Again, thank you.

    • Hi Kerwin,

I like your blog. It’s definitely got some really good elements and the food pictures are very well taken. Hope to see you on video soon!

      • Thanks Tyrone. It is certainly missing the videos, so once I see what you have to say in part 2, its on.

  6. Hey Tyrone
Great content! What do you use to actually make your videos and do that “In Picture” frame of your image against the slide presentation?

    Thanks
    Mark

    • Hi Mark,

Thanks for your feedback. As I’m using a Mac, I use a software called Screen Flow and it’s all built in there that allows me to do that.

Also for recording interviews, I use a software with Skype called “Call Recorder” and it’s available at: http://ecamm.com/mac/callrecorder/

It’s really cool and hope you can get it working for yourself too.

  7. Great video. I had signed up for Tubemogul but had yet to use it because was not sure of the benefits. This will definitely save me a lot of time with video distribution.

    Thanks again!

    • Hi Chad,

Definitely start using Tubemogul as it will allow you distribute faster and also to multiple sites helping you get more backlinks and traffic to your website.

      Thanks for visiting.

  8. Love the videos and information you give us Tyrone. What program or whom do you use to produce your videos? They always look so good.

    • Hi Monty,

Thanks for stopping by. I created a video here previously showing you step by step the software I use to produce my videos and what software I use:

      http://www.tyroneshum.com/tools-part-1/

Let me know how you go?

      Cheers

or maybe the answer is going to be in Part 2 !!!! If only I had read the intro a little slower, I might have picked that up myself. Sorry for the confusion Tyrone

  10. johnni

in the video you said that your video hosting would cost no more than 15 cents a Gigabyte. Yet when I go to http://www.viddler.com/signup/ it says that the minimum cost is $100 for 50 Gb. Am I missing something? Is there a special code you use?
By the way, this is a great article. Especially about Tubemogul. Brilliant
    Johnni

    • Hi Johnni,

Thanks for your comment and also great to know you’re already taken action to test that out.

Yes, you’re right. The answer is in the next part of the video and wasn’t in Viddler. The service is called Amazon S3 – which charges only 15c per GB. You’ll be able to see the video tutorial on my blog now. :)

      Stay tuned!

  11. Thanks Tyrone and thats really good to hear about Youtubes extended time now Monique.

    • Hi Steve,

No problems. I too was glad Monique blurted that out. :)

      Talk soon again.

  12. Hi, I am the Marketing Director at HeySpread.
    Thanks for this good article.
That is true, Tubemogul is one service.

But you should really have a look at HeySpread for Professional Video Analytics and Video Distribution – http://bit.ly/5mD1CL. Far cheaper, with exclusive features such as YouClone (copy/paste your YouTube videos to any other platform automatically and in one shot), powerful and user-friendly interface, REST API for an easy and fast white label integration.

    • Hey Eric,

Great to see you come by and visit my blog. Yes I’ve checked out Heyspread and it was only recently that I was recommended this by @gideonshalwick. The only thing I didn’t like is how Heyspread charged a fee for every video you submit, where as the sites I’ve recommended here are all free.

Any suggestions or other feedback? I’m curious if there’s other “free” options here.

      Thanks.

  13. Thanks for sharing this Tyrone. It was an awesome video about hosting. I never thought of that before, what I always thought that it’s costly to do those methods.

Thanks for the share. Kind regards,

    Gary

    • Hi Gary,

Thanks for your comment and I’m glad you found the video useful.

Hosting these videos would really save you a lot of time to be able to upload and distribute them across multiple networks and create more backlinks to your website.

I’ll keep you posted and make sure you’ll check on the part 2!

      Cheers.

      • Tyrone,

Guess what? YouTube just extended the video length to 15 minutes yesterday! Isn’t that great for tutorials, eh?

        Excellent content! Take care,

        Monique

        • Hi Monique,

          Thanks for the reminders! :)

That would totally make life easier and so as a good news for everyone.

          Cheers.
